How to shut off water to toilets and faucets
Each fixture should have it’s own water shut off valve associated with it. We call those “angle stops”.
-
If you notice your toilet leaking, the valve would be behind the toilet. Turn it clockwise and this should turn the water off to the toilet.
-
If you notice a faucet is leaking, look under your sink. There should be a small valve that rotates clockwise and should shut off water to that specific fixture.
-
If you do not see valves connected to those faucets or fixtures, we recommend turning off your main water and calling Grant & Sons or a licensed plumber immediately.
-
If your shower or bathtub is leaking, call Grant & Sons or a licensed plumber to remedy the problem.
