How to clean your aerators

Step 1: Unscrew the Aerator or Shower Head

1. Use your fingers or pliers to gently twist off the small screen at the tip of your faucet (unscrew by turning right). If your shower head seems stuck or requires special tools, it might be best to call a pro. Forcing it could cause damage.

2. Does water wash the debris off the screen? If not, soak in vinegar for about an hour and scrub with an old toothbrush.

3. Screw the aerator back on (screw it back on going left)

3. Does water flow more freely? If so, great! If not, check your water pressure or call us for help.
